The Conference of Haitian Pastors (COPAH) is a national alliance of pastors and Protestant leaders serving churches and communities throughout Haiti. It brings together pastors of indigenous Protestant churches, associations, and religious organizations. Religious in nature, multi-denominational, non-governmental, non-profit, and apolitical, COPAH operates in full conformity with Haitian law, its statutes, and internal regulations. Its headquarters are in Port-au-Prince, with the authority to establish regional and international offices as decided by the Executive Council.
Mission & Objectives
- •Support and equip Haitian Protestant pastors and leaders spiritually, socially, culturally, and educationally.
- •Advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ and train Protestant leaders.
- •Promote respect for legally recognized human rights, aligned with Haitian law and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
- •Represent recognized and not-yet-recognized indigenous missions/churches before the Haitian state (Ministry of Cults), including sworn and unsworn pastors, networks, and leagues.
Philanthropy
COPAH may promote works in health, education, culture, and related areas directly tied to its purpose.
Territorial Scope
Activities extend across the entire territory of the Republic of Haiti.
Membership
Categories: Founders, Adherents, and Benefactors.
Founders signed the statutes; Adherents accept the statutes and pay the annual dues set by the General Assembly; Benefactors contribute concretely to COPAH's functioning and development.
Any pastor/leader with good moral standing may apply in writing to the Executive Council. Membership may cease by resignation, removal (for serious faults approved by the General Assembly), or non-payment of dues for two consecutive years.
Governance
Organs: General Assembly (AG), Executive Council (CE), and National Coordination (CN). Other organs/commissions may be created as needed.
Executive Council: 13 members (President; National Coordinator; Executive Secretary; Deputy Executive Secretary; Finance Officer; Regional Coordinators for Grand Sud, Grand Nord, Ouest I, Ouest II, Centre, Artibonite; and two Advisors). Terms are three years.
National Coordination: Oversees regional representatives across six districts: Grand Sud, Grand Nord, Ouest I, Ouest II, Centre (Haut & Bas Plateau), and Artibonite.
General Assembly: Meets in ordinary session (July), and as needed in extraordinary or special sessions; quorum and voting rules are defined in the statutes.

Special commissions review cases and submit proposals to the Executive Council; some operate on a permanent basis.
Sources of Revenue
Membership fees, subscriptions, donations and legacies, activity income, voluntary or exceptional contributions, and support from public and private institutions and organizations (national and international).
